QLD:Grantham-a long way to go after floods

GRANTHAM, Qld, Feb 24 AAP - They're working up the soil on farms around Grantham, preparing
to plant crops to replace those swept from the ground when a wall of water hit the town
on January 10.
The plane that floated into a tree that infamous day has been removed, as has the new
speedboat that ended up blocking the railway line.
The material damage is being rectified, leaving the town to cope with the grief of
17 deaths, lost homes, lost livelihoods, lost purpose.
